The Story of Easton’s Cause
Easton’s Cause was established in 2011, following the tragic and untimely death of baby Easton Andrew. In the days that followed, his family was left devastated and searching for resources to help bridge the unexpected financial burden they were facing. After exhaustive research, they were met with the heartbreaking reality that no such resources existed for families in this situation.
In response, community members rallied together to support Easton’s family through a series of fundraisers. One of those events, a softball tournament held in Easton’s honor, was not only successful, but it created an atmosphere of unity, love, and support unlike anything any of us had experienced before.
From that moment, Easton’s family and friends knew this spirit of community needed to continue.
Easton’s Cause was created as a nonprofit organization to host events that honor Easton’s name while giving back to the same community that once gave so generously to his family. What began as support for one family has grown into a mission to support many others facing unexpected financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances.
Today, Easton’s Cause strives to be the resource for families when no other resources exist.
